ABOUT CEL HEMINGWAY
Certified Yoga Instructor
Cel has dedicated the last 10 years of her life to studying and teaching yoga in a variety of environments. Having studied mainly with Tim Miller helped her develop a passion and an understanding for the practice she never thought possible. The bread and butter of her practice is Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, and this strong base gives her the confidence to be creative, applying the principles of Ashtanga to her other classes. Her classes are filled with traditional Sanskrit words, and sequences, and yet there's a freedom and lightness to each session you can't find in very many places. Her heart is set on the idea that yoga is for all people, and it should fit into our everyday lives. She encourages her students to keep an open heart and mind, remaining curious about every posture they learn. Cel has thousands of hours of teaching group classes, privates, specialty classes and training workshops. She teaches a Teacher Training program once a year to a few selected students. It doesn't matter how many hundreds of hours of training she has taken already... she keeps studying constantly, pursuing the study of Vedanta at the moment.
"Yoga is for the body, the mind, the heart, and the world around us. It can help us become pleasant, end enjoy life from a non-biased stand point. It brings awareness to our existence as participants, and not as oblivious spectators. It makes us better at all that we endeavor to do. Yoga is one good path." Cel Hemingway

PRIMARY SERIES OF ASHTANGA
Considered a therapeutic practice, Primary Series prepares you for the journey into the other series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga: it detoxes the body, enhances one's ability to concentrate, gets you ready for breathing practices(pranayam), and helps improve overall health. Beginners may attend this class, even though it's recommended to the intermediate/advanced practitioner.

PRIVATE CLASSES
Private classes for individuals and groups are available upon request. Contact Cel for more details.
MEDITATION
Through the practice of meditation we find the space to be still, and get in touch with our essence. Meditation helps to calm the senses and relax the body, creating a positive stress response, facilitating overall healing.

“If we practice the science of yoga, which is useful to the entire human community and which yields happiness both here and hereafter – if we practice it without fail, we will then attain physical, mental and spiritual happiness, and our minds will flood towards the Self.”
